Bad bosses and despotism at workplace: A systematic review of the despotic leadership literature

چکیده
Over the years, concept of despotic leadership (DL) has emerged as a hot topic in academic and professional debates on leadership. To this end, study aims to synthesize existing literature business management scholarship. We utilize systematic review technique systematically identify, select, evaluate scholarly publications highlight emerging topics, theories, consequences at workplace. In addition, we also provide set specific research questions for advancements DL well clarify its conceptual operationalization ambiguities. The findings are categorized follows, i) theory conceptualization DL, ii) state-of-the-art profiling, iii) key thematic areas, iv) future agenda. implications practice discussed.
